Spring 2019 Tracks

Hardware - Learn how to program arduinos, drones, and more! Events in this track will use hardware to explore how we connect computer science to the physical world.

Data Science - Over the past several years, the amount of data in our world has been increasing exponentially from a few megabytes to over 2.5 billion gigabytes. It’s becoming increasingly important for us to not only understand what this data is and where it’s coming from, but how we can use it effectively, which is exactly where the events in this track come into play!

Fall 2018

Modern Workflow - Events in this track will examine the ways that modern software applications are developed. This includes version control, agile methodology, and enterprise information flow.

Web Development - Events in the Web Development track are focused on the tools used for modern web development. We'll start off with basic HTML and JavaScript before delving into modern frameworks for both front-end and back-end development.

Career Building - Events in the Career Building track are focused on students going into the industry - what do you need to know to build a killer resume, negotiate your salary, or talk to representatives at career fairs? These events are co-hosted by Women in Computing Sciences (WiCS).
